summer 2017

  • Lindsay hodges - morning speaker | July 16-22

Lindsay has been involved in youth and young adult outreach for the past 25 years, most recently with Youth For Christ Victoria.  His passion is to see the Church be released to minister in whatever capacity they have been directed by the Lord.  With high values on storytelling and laughter, he is endured by his 2 teenaged kids, Jaylen and Jazmyn, and his gracious wife Shelley.

  • Mark gordon - evening speaker | july 16-22

Mark and Sandi have a passion for people to know the love of Jesus and understand the personal value He places on them, and to help them discover and live out their destiny. They have "lived this out" through a relational approach to ministry and life. Mark has been involved in developing ministries that work outside the "normal" ministry model, reaching far into the culture of today's society. After serving in organizations such as Impact society and Mercy for Youth as an executive director, The Bridge Community of Faith invited Mark to serve as Lead Pastor in 2004. The church had a desire for greater impact in the city and wanted the experience that Mark and Sandi had in working at a community level. Currently in addition to his leadership role at the Bridge, Mark owns a coaching practice that focuses on helping families and organizations create dynamic culture through the development of healthy relationships. He is also the District Director for ACOP (Apostolic church of Pentecost) serving BC Interior churches and sits on several boards and committees in the City of Kelowna including as Board of Chair of the Okanagan Valley Pregnancy Care Centre and the Alder Foundation. They are committed to a relational model that puts Jesus and people first.

However Mark and Sandi both agree their greatest accomplishment and greatest gifts are their five children, Son Justen and his wife Kristen, daughter Jelene and her husband Zach, and daughter Jenna.

  • Jeremy Wolfram - evening speaker | July 23-29

Jeremy's call to the ministry came at a young age and he has been blessed and amazed to see God unfolding this call in his life. Since marrying his wife Brandy in 2003 they have endeavoured to serve Christ with everything they have to make Jesus greater in their lives and the lives of others. Their desire is to see the Church built up and encouraged in all that God has called it to be corporately and individually and are passionate about mobilizing God's people to influence and reach their city with the gospel. They also have 3 amazing kids.

  • Scott & gerry Gardner - Morning speaker's | july 23-29

Scott and Gerry Gardner are the founding directors of Compelled By Grace - A Global Ministry with a mission to lead people to the saving love of Jesus Christ through worship, teaching, healing, and prayer. The passion for their ministry is found in Hebrews 12:15 ... "that not one would miss the grace of God".

Scott and Gerry were interim pastors at Community Gospel Chapel on Salt Spring Island, BC, for 2-1/2 years before returning to Sarasota, Florida this past March. Gerry is a gifted teacher focused by a Kingdom perspective for healing in the Body of Christ. Scott is an anointed worship leader and Christian song-writer whose heart serves the Lord through ushering others into God's presence. They share in their desire to empower God's people to both receive and pray healing and reconciliation with others. Gerry recently published her book, Hearts that Matter Much, a training manual about brining children to the healing love of Jesus Christ.

Scott and Gerry have ministered internationally in Canada, Costa Rica, Uganda, Rwanda and Tanzania. Returning to minister at Cowichan Camp is a blessing for them this summer as they anticipate a powerful time of God's healing and seeing many friends!
